At Escapology BJJ, we believe that a great training environment is built on mutual respect and safety. Our Code of Conduct helps us create and maintain a space where everyone can focus on their growth.
By following these guidelines along with our uniform policy, we ensure the academy remains a professional, clean, and supportive community where you can train hard and improve every day. Here is the code of conduct:
- Always Be Respectful: Discriminatory, Derogatory, Or Abusive Behaviour And/Or Language Toward Anyone Will Not Be Tolerated.
- Do Not Interact With, Coach, Or Otherwise Distract Children During Classes.
- Children May Not Play On The Mat.
- Unattended Children Are Not Allowed In The Academy Outside Of Class Time.
- Children Are Not Allowed In The Changing Rooms.
- Photos And Video Recording Are Forbidden During Classes Without Express Permission From Management.
- Pre-Book Your Class Before Attending And Sign In When You Arrive At The Academy.
- Shoes, Food, And Drinks (Other Than Water) Are Not Allowed On The Mat.
- Do Not Leave The Mat During Class Without Informing The Instructor.
- Do Not Talk While The Instructor Is Demonstrating.
- Always Wear Your Shoes While You Are Off The Mat.
- Wear Clothes At All Times In The Academy.
- Always Wash Your Uniform And Belt After Training.
- All Jewellery, Piercings, Necklaces And Other Items Should Be Removed During Training.
- Keep Fingernails And Toenails Neatly Trimmed.
- Training Gear And Bags Should Be Left In The Locker Room.
- All Students Must Adhere To The Academy Uniform Policy. (Uniform Policy)
