Spider Guard can be an incredibly tricky guard to pass. After all, your opponent is using their legs against your arms, which is a bit of an unfair battle. The spider guard grips can make it very difficult for you to close the distance or and maintain your posture.
Thankfully, the leg drag can solve a lot of the problems the spider guard causes.
