Most people view a competition in terms either winning or losing. However, the real value of competition goes way beyond that. This is particularly true for kids.
The medal and result are not even close to the true value of competition. In fact, it’s the least important part of the day.
No one will remember who won the under 24kg Pee Wees grey belt tournament that happened in April. But the lessons kids learn by talking part in that event will last a lifetime.
